Led by experienced children’s yoga teacher Elisabeth Kent, this Family Yoga Class will encourage playful explorations of classic asanas and of kid-friendly mindfulness techniques.

We all know the end of the school year is bananas! Take a break, have a treat, and support Wheelhouse while you do. Pre-order a family dinner from See & Be on their website at https://www.seeandbekitchen.com/. Then pick up on Thursday at their shop in Cairo, take home, and enjoy a night without having to cook.

Tie Dye! T-shirt decorating! Maybe some stencils and natural dye-making if we get ambitious! We will have souvenir Wheelhouse shirts available for purchase, or feel free to bring your own light-colored textiles for dyeing.

Join us on Tuesday, June 24 for a Musical Picnic! With the guidance of local musicians, families will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of percussion instruments, and to play in the musical language. Plus popsicles, snacks, and the soothing sensations of our Children’s Forest!

You-Don't-Have-to-Cook Taco Potluck Night!
Take a little break…Bring your kids, and come play in our play yard and classroom spaces while we make your family dinner! We’ll provide the basics (beans, rice, cheese, tortillas - both wheat flour & gluten-free), you bring your favorite toppings and make your own tacos for your crew. Grown-ups chat, kids play, and everyone gets home before the witching hour begins. Every second Friday. Hope to see you!

Spring Volunteer Day
Join us to spruce up our space for spring. There are projects for every skill set & ability, from working on our garden fence to planting seeds to decorating our forest campsites. Kids are welcome, and lunch will be provided.
